The cash and credit prizes valued at $10,000 are designed to help photographers create, produce and promote their publications.
The 2017 winner and commended books were announced on 9 March during the opening night of the Photobook NZ Festival 2018, at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. The New Zealand and Australian finalist books exhibition will now travel throughout the region and abroad.
